I promise I didn't forget. Things have been crazy at our house this weekend and I haven't had time to edit my photos yet. I'm hoping tomorrow. I have no daycare kids and only physio in the afternoon!

September 16th Challenge:

Lately it has been my own 2 feet! Excuse the fact that I need to paint my nails again. I could go for a mani/pedi anytime now :)

This is our bed as of right now! Arnold and I were in a rush this morning and nothing got done. Thankfully not too many people go downstairs so we are ok! Our bed is from my parents when we moved to Toronto. The sheets are one of my favourite gifts from our wedding from my Aunt Marnie. The comforter is from my old sheet sets and the main cover (the one with blue and cream) is from WAY back in the day... haha like 2003 or so.

It doesn’t have to be a card or anything, go with something more like a flyer! Whatever put a smile on your face, even if it’s just for a few seconds.

This is from the Toronto Zoo flyer. I LOVE the zoo. We go as much as we can with the kids. This is about their new stuff. I just love the way they look and the memories I get from the kids being there

Wow… 10 years. Can you believe it? Where were you when you found out the twin towers were falling? I remember just where I was and what my reaction was. Everything stood still. Today, take a picture of something that helped you through that day.

I remember it like it was yesterday. Sitting in Religion class not knowing what had happen (think rez kid) and then finding out. It was horrible. The only thing that got me through that day, aside from friends, was my faith in God.




September 12th Challenge:

Today take a picture of something from the mail. Yes you must now go and get your mail. If you didn’t get anything today find something in the past week. Something that makes you smile. September 10th Challenge:

Today find your most used shoes. It might sound silly but I bet you use them more than anything, and love them because they are super comfortable so snag a photo of them and take a minute to thank those shoes for keeping your feet safe!


These are my runners. I bought them last April (2010) and I took alot of photos when they came home. I love them! I will show you today's look. They have taken me through 2 years of training, well over 1200km's in just training - not normal walking with family/friends, and have been great. Before the tri this year I realized I needed new ones but this was no point in the game to wear new shoes. So that's my new plan for net year!

These are my first group of girls I've had for 2 years at youth. I love them so much! These 2 along with 1 other "Graduated" to highschool and aren't technically in my group anymore. But I love them just as much.

Not too creative but I did get to play with it a bit on photoshop! I love the way the grass looks. This is the first time Kyler has cut the grass generally by himself. But as you can see Daddy wasn't too far behind!

September Photo Challenge!

I didn't keep up with the seasons hey? Wow.. Summer is busy! Instead I'm going to start the challenges Here we go!

September 1st Challenge. Take a photo of your "work area". For me it's a new-to-me corner desk. I love my new desk. My father-in-law built it for my husband while we were in university. It fit perfectly behind the school desks into the corner so we had lots of space there. Eventually it went into our first house, then to my parents house where after being in storage a bit my brother took it over and used it at his university housing. And eventually it landed back at my parents house. Now it's finally at our home. We have recently began renting out the whole house (July) and have this beautiful yellow mud/back room. It's wonderful. And so that I can watch the kids outside and still be able to use my computer I've now set it up in the corner. With no notice (ie no time to clean it up) I took a picture:



Dirty hey? And crazy busy but it works. To "explain" my picture:


These flowers were given to me from a friend. We had them over for dinner once and they brought over these flowers. While they are wilting a bit I'm excited to move them outside (not today, it's raining) and plant them in my garden soon.


My camera! We just came back from a picnic with the kids and I got a few new photos of the kids and of the school playground. I always seem to have it close at hand in case I need to snag a photo quickly!


This picture kinda does a bit of everything. There is my cell phone (which is generally ALWAYS on me), my son's pencil box (which he brought over to me this morning), under that is my to-do list, as well as my Bible.


Behind my computer is my bike lock, and my tri number! I need to figure out how to put some pictures on my wall but for now that's where it sits!


Lunch leftovers. Like I said our picnic got canceled so I had my yogurt, water and cheese and crackers at my desk instead.


My computer! An important part. And see what I'm working on now? My blog! I have 2 blogs. This one (my photos one) and the other one (my family one). I'm working on updating the family blog to it's new "Fall theme".
